Terms and boundaries

Information and behavioural support, not healthcare.

These terms explain what MAYBE is designed to do, what it cannot do, and the boundaries that apply when you use the site.

No diagnosis, verdict, or clinical service

MAYBE does not diagnose OCD, determine whether a concern is real, assess risk, provide medical or mental health advice, deliver treatment, create an individual exposure plan, or replace qualified professional judgment.

No promised result

We do not claim that MAYBE prevents, treats, or cures a condition, or that it will produce calm, certainty, recovery, or any particular outcome. The app and its original content are provided as is, without a guarantee of accuracy, availability, or a particular result.

Ordinary safety still applies

For clear present danger or new concrete information, follow ordinary safety guidance once and contact local emergency services when needed. MAYBE is designed for doubtful, repetitive uncertainty, not for ignoring a visible or current safety problem.

Professional relationships and third-party links

Using MAYBE or emailing us does not create a clinician-patient, therapist-client, or other professional care relationship. Third-party links are provided for context; citation does not imply endorsement, and publications remain the property of their authors and publishers.
